The AP Chemistry course described for students with a college-level foundation to support future advanced coursework in chemistry. Students cultivate their understanding of chemistry through inquiry-based investigations, such as atomic structure, intermolecular forces and bonding, chemical reactions, kinetics, thermodynamics, and equilibrium. AP Chemistry is open to all students that have completed a year of chemistry who wish to take part in a rigorous and academically challenging course. It provides a solid preparation for the AP Chemistry exam.
