College Chemistry is designed to give students an in-depth introduction to Chemistry. The course covers topics typically included in a high school chemistry course and prepares students to take AP Chemistry. Students are introduced to various units including the Components of Matter, Stoichiometry, the Classes of Chemical Reactions, Thermochemistry, and Quantum Theory. The course also covers Chemical Bonding, Intermolecular Forces, and the Properties of Solutions. Organic Compounds are discussed, and so are Thermodynamics, Electrochemistry, and Nuclear Reactions. In addition to live tutoring sessions, students develop an understanding of complex chemical concepts via interactive presentations, homework problems, curated videos, and application of concepts to problems.
