Ms. Radha Jawahar has given me the guidance, strategy, and knowledge needed to get a 1570 on my SAT. Before her aid, I was consistently underperforming and getting mid 1300’s. After just a few classes, I saw my score dramatically rise. Within a few months, I was constantly getting 1500+ scores. Her teaching style, which includes interactive meetings with many other high-score aspiring students, and unique knowledge about the SAT test combined with her great and caring personality brought forth the best SAT test taker within me. The bulk of my SAT tutoring experience with Mrs. Radha took place during the summer, and every element was extremely helpful in adopting a habit of practice and revision, which was critical to my success on exam day. Each week, me and the other students took a full-length practice SAT, in conditions that reflected those of the actual test — we tested with proper timing and scoring. We had frequent lessons in grammar and reading comprehension, all of which were useful for adopting strategies to utilize. These sessions helped me gain a better grasp of assessed topics, review questions I missed on mock exams, understand how to approach the test, as well as practice preparing for and taking the exams. Consequently, the actual SAT was much easier than it otherwise would have been, and I scored 1560 that Fall.
